Just before 1:00 am, West Precinct officers responded to a silent alarm at a restaurant in the 100 Block of 1st Avenue North. The alarm company informed the 911 center that they could see someone inside the business. Officers arrived quickly and set up containment around the business. A K9 officer was called to the scene. Before the K9 officer had arrived, the suspect came out of one of the doors and started running. After a brief foot chase by officers, the suspect was taken into custody.
