The two men responsible for a daytime armed robbery of a jewelry store in South Seattle yesterday are in custody.
At approximately 3:21 p.m. today detectives saw the two suspects from yesterday’s jewelry store robbery at the Safeway grocery store in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Multiple patrol officers responded to assist the detectives in apprehending the suspects.
Both suspects, a 19-year-old male and a 26-year-old male, were taken into custody and two handguns were recovered from the suspects.
There are no additional details available at this time.
This remains an active and on-going armed robbery investigation.
