Vehicle damaged in drive-by shooting

Officers investigate a drive-by shooting in South Seattle.  On 11/30/13, just shortly after 5:00 p.m., officers responded to Rainier Av S and S. College St on a report of shots fired.  Officers located the victim vehicle, which was occupied by 4 males.  According to the victims, unknown suspect’s shot out the driver’s side window on their car.

The bullet also struck the front window and cracked it.  However, no one was injured.  The vehicle following the victim’s vehicle thought the shot could have come from a white van.  The victims stated that they had no idea why anyone would shoot at them.

Officers located a bullet fragment and shell casing. Patrol Evidence Technicians processed the evidence.
