Detectives Asking For Witnesses To Come Forward In Officer-Involved Shooting Incidents

Force Investigation Team detectives investigating the two officer-involved shootings over last weekend would like anyone who witnessed the shootings or the events leading up to them to call investigators and provide a statement. The two incidents in question are summarized below:

On January 19th at approximately 1:34 a.m. the 2200 block of 1st Avenue was crowded with pedestrian and vehicular traffic as the bars were closing. Detectives would like to speak with anyone who saw the disturbance that preceded the shooting or the shooting itself.

The specific time in question is from 1:30 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. (on January 19th) and the specific location was the UPark parking lot in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue on the east side of the street between Robbins Brothers jewelers and Amber club.

Additionally, detectives would like to speak with anyone who was in the immediate vicinity of the 2900 block of 1st Avenue South on January 20th at approximately 9:40 p.m.
