Fight Disturbance With Shot Fired

Officers responded to a large fight disturbance with a gunshot fired in West Seattle just before midnight last night.

On March 8th at approximately 11:55 p.m. officers responded to the 3600 block of SW Othello Street for a report of up to 100 teenagers fighting. As officers arrived in the area at least two citizens called 911 and reported hearing a gunshot. Upon arrival officers saw about 30 teenagers in the area who dispersed quickly and fled the scene.

Upon further investigation officers located a shell casing on the street and also located two intoxicated adult male victims. One of the victims reported that 3 to 4 unknown male suspects got out of a black car and attempted to fight him. All of the suspects were wearing black clothing and black ski masks. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot it into the air. The victim did not believe the suspect was shooting at him but deliberately into the air to scare him.

No property damage was located and no victims requiring medical assistance were located or came forward.

There are no additional suspect descriptions available at this time.

This remains an active and on-going investigation.
