A man is recovering from two stab wounds to his abdomen after he was assaulted last night in Pioneer Square.
At around 11:00 pm last night, the 22-year-old man was walking with a group of people he did not know in the 200 Block of 1st Avenue South. One of the men in the group turned and stabbed the victim twice in the abdomen before running south out of the area. The victim was able to walk back to a bar where employees called 911. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
