Man Chased By Masked Suspects In Lake City Stun Gun Attack

A man called 911 early Tuesday morning and reported that he had been attacked in Lake City by two men armed with a stun gun.

As the victim was walking in the 12500 block of 27th Avenue NE he heard footsteps approaching behind him before a man yelled “Get off my block!”

The victim turned to discover the two suspect, one of whom was carrying a stun gun. The victim tried to hide behind a car, but the suspects approached the man and shocked him with the stun gun. The victim tried to flee but tripped and fell in the intersection only to be shocked twice more by the suspects.

The suspects fled the scene after the attack and the victim called 911.

Officers and a K9 team searched the area for the suspects—described as white or light-skinned black males in their mid-20s, 5’7-5’9, 150-170 pounds, both wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and bandannas over their faces—but weren’t able to find them. The victim was not seriously injured in the attack.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 911 and refer to this case.
