Two houses were struck by gunfire last night in South Seattle

Officers responded to shots fired last night in the Holly Park neighborhood.

On 5/16/14, just shortly before midnight, a witness stated a small dark colored sedan drove past a small group of people walking on the sidewalk in the 3700 block of S. Othello St.

It appeared as though a passenger of the sedan fired three to five rounds at the group. The group went prone on the ground while shots were fired, then got up, and ran between the houses.

The sedan may have also been shooting at another vehicle. Two houses were struck by the rounds. No one on the street or in the homes was struck or injured. The Gang Unit responded and interviewed the witness, processed the scene, and collected evidence.

Suspect described as dark skin male.

The suspect vehicle was described as a small dark sedan, possibly GM.
