Man with 23 felony convictions arrested on his 24th felony

A large amount of meth recovered from felon with outstanding warrant.

On 5/19/2014, at approximtely 7:15 p.m., an officer saw a subject on a motorcycle, travelling at a high rate of speed southbound in the 7800 block of 16th S.W. The subject appeared to be engaged in a chase with a car. The officer turned around and stopped the motorcycle.

During the course of the ensuing stop the officer recovered a shrink-wrapped amount of what appeared to be methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested. A search incident to that arrest revealed a large amount of cash on the suspect.

The drugs totaled just over a pound in weight or $45,000.00 in street value.   The 35-year-old suspect, previously convicted of twenty three felonies, with at least nine different periods of DOC imprisonment, was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Possession with intent to distribute – meth and an outstanding arrest warrant.

The narcotics and cash was placed into evidence. The motorcycle was impounded.
