Officers arrested two violent teenaged bullies in New Holly and are seeking a third suspect after they viciously attacked a former classmate, who had transferred schools to get away from them.
As the 13-year-old victim stepped off a Metro bus near Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. and S. Webster St. just before 5 PM Wednesday, he looked across the street and saw the three suspects. The victim—who attended a Seattle middle school with the suspects last year, and transferred to get away from their violent bullying—immediately turned around and tried to get aboard the Metro bus. However, the driver reportedly refused to let the young boy on board.
The three suspects then approached the victim, surrounded him, and began punching the boy, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then kicked the victim and stomped on his head before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived at the scene about a minute after receiving a report of the attack and found the 13-year-old victim, who had bruises on his head and visible scratches on his legs. Members of the Seattle Fire Department treated the victim at the scene as officers searched the neighborhood for the suspects.
Officers quickly caught up to two of the teenaged bullies, arrested them, and booked them into the Youth Service Center for assault. Police have the name of the third suspect and are currently searching for him.
