Officers arrested a man who stole wine from a party in South Lake Union on Sunday, and then pointed a shotgun at the victims when they demanded the beverages back.
Police were called to an apartment complex in the 900 block of Dexter Avenue North about 7:30 PM. The victims reported they were holding a party in the apartment complex’s common area when the suspect ambled in and stole several bottles of wine.
Two of the victims knew where the suspect lived and went to his apartment to get the wine back. He reportedly pointed his shotgun at one of them during the confrontation. They left, but then several of the victims grabbed sticks and returned to confront the suspect, who pointed his shotgun at individuals in the group.
Officers arrested the 27-year-old suspect and confiscated his shotgun. He was booked into King County Jail on investigation of harassment.
