During a City Council briefing today on Seattle demonstrations following the Ferguson decision, questions were posed regarding the race of individuals arrested. SPD records indicate that twenty-five arrests were made during protests between November 24 and December 28 January 1. Of those arrested, fourteen fifteen where white, seven eight were black, one was Asian or Pacific Islander and three one were was unknown.
