Officers arrested a woman after she assaulted a taxi driver early Saturday morning.
A taxi driver was providing a ride home for the 25-year-old female suspect. The driver said that as they drove along I-5 the woman reached forward and began clawing the his neck and punching him. The driver was able to exit the interstate and called for police.
Officers arrived and began speaking with the woman when she suddenly lashed out and began punching an officer in the chest. The officer was not injured and quickly took the woman into custody. Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for assault.
