Police Seek Beacon Hill Peeper

Seattle police are seeking a suspected peeper after a woman reported seeing a camera flash outside her bedroom, just minutes after a strange man told her he had been watching her through a window.

The victim told police she awoke just before 3 AM and went outside her home—near 15th Avenue S. and S. Dakota Street—to smoke a cigarette.

An intoxicated man approached the woman outside her home, struck up a conversation, and suddenly confessed he had seen her naked while watching her through a bedroom window.

Alarmed by the man’s admission, the woman finished her cigarette and went back to bed. As she walked into her room, she saw a camera flash just outside her window. The woman woke her boyfriend, who went outside and spotted the suspect riding away on a bike.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. He is described as an Asian male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, five feet tall, wearing all black last seen riding a dark BMX style bike with rear foot-pegs.

If you have any information about this case, please call 911 and ask to speak to an officer.
