Police received received reports around 1 AM of a fight and gunshots near Marine Avenue SW and Alki Avenue SW, several hours before the wounded 17-year-old showed up at the hospital.

At the scene, witnesses said a group of four or five men had chased another man to a black car, and began pounding on the vehicle.
