Seattle police arrested a 26-year-old Seattle University student Monday in connection with a series of threatening notes left on the school’s campus.
Police evacuated three buildings on campus Friday after students found a series of threatening notes left in school bathrooms. On Saturday, staff at Swedish Hospital’s Cherry Hill facility—which houses Seattle University’s medical training programs—called police after they found a similar threatening note in a women’s restroom.
Officers worked with school and hospital security to investigate the case, and learned a Seattle University student was captured on surveillance cameras entering a bathroom shortly before hospital staff found the threatening notes.
Police arrested the student on the school’s main campus Monday morning for investigation of felony threats.
