Police arrested three men at Hempfest over the weekend after they robbed a woman and assaulted her brother, and now detectives are looking for anyone who may have witnessed or captured video of the incident.
Officers arrested three men at the festival around 6pm Sunday after they stole the woman’s cellphone and attacked her 24-year-old brother when he tried to intervene.
The three suspects punched and kicked the 24-year-old man before Hempfest security and bystanders broke up the fight and flagged down Seattle police officers at the event.
Officers booked the three suspects–two 23 year olds and one 21-year-old–into the King County Jail following the incident.
SPD detectives have obtained one video of the fight, but are asking anyone else who may have additional footage, or who may have witnessed the incident, to call the Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535.
