Officers Arrest Felon, Find Drugs, Gun, and Cash in Pioneer Square

Officers arrested a felon for selling narcotics, and recovered a stolen gun in Pioneer Square this morning.

Officer Victor Maes and Officer Felix Reyes Department of Corrections Officer Winfrey were on the lookout for narcotics activity at Occidental Ave. S. And S. Main St. at 6:30 AM today when they spotted a man they believed was selling drugs.  When officers tried to arrest the 35-year-old suspect, when he ran away, only to be caught a short distance down the road.

Officers searched the suspect and found a stolen loaded 9mm Glock handgun, 31 grams of crack cocaine, 8.8 grams of marijuana, and $1,206 in cash in his pockets.

Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for drug charges, weapons charges, and a felony warrant.
