Seattle police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting Sunday night in the Brighton neighborhood.
A witness called 911 around 9:30 Sunday after finding the wounded victim at Rainier Avenue S. and S. Garden Street. Medics attempted live-saving measures on the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives canvassed the neighborhood for information about the case and were able to identify the 34-year-old man as a suspect in the case. Seattle police arrested the 34-year-old suspect around 9:30 PM Tuesday at Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. and S. Othello St. and booked him into the King County Jail for unlawful possession of a firearm and investigation of homicide.
