Officers are investigating after a 13-year-old girl reported an attempted luring in the Beacon Hill neighborhood Monday morning.
School officials called 911 after the teen told them she was approached by a man in a black SUV at Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. and S. Orcas St. as she was walking to school at 9:30 AM. The student described the man as a 30-year-old, skinny, black male wearing a black suit and black tie. The man asked several times if she wanted a ride and offered to take her to breakfast. The girl repeatedly refused and the SUV driver drove off.
