Seattle and University of Washington Police arrested a trio of teens early Sunday after they robbed six people at knifepoint in the University District.
Shortly after 3:00 AM, the suspects reportedly approached several victims throughout the University District and ordered them to hand over their wallets and cellphones. In one case, the suspects demanded a man’s shoes before they fled the scene in a silver Nissan SUV.
UW and Seattle police stopped the Nissan around 4 AM near NE 45th Street and University Way and arrested the three 18-year-old menĀ in the vehicle.
Robbery detectives are investigating.
