Police arrested a 32-year-old man Wednesday in downtown Seattle after he groped a woman as she was leaving work.
Officer Ryan Stone was leaving another call at a business at 6th Avenue and Pine Street around 8 PM when he saw a 19-year-old woman running toward him.
The woman said she’d just been assaulted, and pointed out a man walking off down the street.
Officer Stone followed the man on foot and called for other officers, who took the man into custody.
The victim told police she had been locking the front door of a business at 6th Ave and Pine St. when the suspect came up behind her and groped her with such force the he nearly lifted her off the ground.
The woman shouted at the suspect and chased after him, until she saw Officer Stone on the street.
Officers booked the 32-year-old suspect into the King County Jail for assault.
