Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) are conducting the follow up investigation after an adult male was struck and killed by a Sound Transit light rail train Monday morning.
At about 6:38 am, the man was attempting to cross Martin Luther King Jr. Way South within the north crosswalk at South Othello Street. The male appeared to have been crossing west to east against the signal light. The northbound train struck the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene by Seattle Fire.
