Detectives are investigating after a 15-year-old girl was injured by gunfire this afternoon in South Seattle. The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The victim was in the 11200 block of 59th Avenue South this afternoon at about 3:00 pm when she was struck by gunfire. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her injuries. Detectives responded to the scene and are conducting their investigation.
