Officers arrested a man following a stabbing downtown Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses called police to the bus tunnel at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street for a report of a disturbance at 2:15 p.m Saturday.
When police arrived they found an adult male on the ground with a stab wound to the chest. Officers provided medical aid until Seattle Fire Department medics could take the man to Harborview Medical Center.
Witnesses told officers that two men were having an argument just prior to the stabbing.
Police found the suspect blocks away and took him into custody without incident. Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
