Detectives are investigating after a man was shot inside a Rainier Beach apartment building Thursday evening.
At approximately 5:45 pm, officers responded to reports that a person had been shot inside the building in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Officers found the victim in the building’s parking lot and provided first aid until the Seattle Fire Department took over treatment. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he underwent surgery.
Officers determined that the shooting occurred inside an apartment in the building. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Seattle Police by calling 911 or 206-625-5011.
