Detectives are conducting the investigation following a shooting in Belltown early Sunday morning that left one person with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 2:20 am, just after bar closing, officers responded to a disturbance in the street in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue. Prior to the arrival of officers, a number of shots were fired and one person was struck several times. A number of parked cars were struck by gunfire as well as a building. Officers located the victim and Seattle Fire medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center.
Detectives responded to process the scene. There are no suspect(s) description at this time. This remains an active and on-going investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Seattle Police.
