Detectives are investigating after a Seattle Police patrol car crashed through a fence in the SODO neighborhood.
Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 500 block Royal Brougham Way near the Greyhound bus station, Sunday morning around 5:45. One of the responding officers was driving to the scene and lost control of the vehicle in the 3300 block of Airport Way South. The vehicle careened through a fence and came to rest on some nearby train tracks.
The officer was taken to Harborview Medical Center for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
Officers investigating the initial call were unable to find any sign of shots fired.
