Seattle police arrested a wanted felon on Thursday and seized several pounds of meth from his Aurora-area motel room.
Police began investigating the 39-year-old man after they learned he was reportedly selling methamphetamine and stealing vehicles, and was wanted on a Washington State Department of Corrections warrant and a burglary warrant out of Missouri. Investigators made several purchases of meth from the man and, on Thursday, went to his motel room in the 4400 block of Green Lake Avenue North to arrest him.
Investigators spotted the man driving away from the motel in a red Mitsubishi, stopped the car, and took the man into custody. Police found he was carrying 12.8 grams of methamphetamine, and learned there was likely more back at the motel.
Police found 150 additional grams of methamphetamine in the man’s second car, along with 881 grams (about two pounds) of meth in his motel room, and booked him into the King County Jail.
