A man with gunshot wounds drove himself to Children’s Hospital just before midnight. He was later transported to Haborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department medics. The victim remains at the hospital receiving treatment but is expected to recover.
The man told officers that he had been shot by an unknown suspect in the parking lot at North 100th and Aurora Avenue North. According to the man, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle. There is no description of the suspect or the vehicle.
Officers searched the parking lot where the victim stated that shooting occurred but could not find any evidence of a shooting. Detectives will handle the follow up investigation.
