Police arrested a 31-year-old man on Wednesday, a month after he threatened drug store employees and claimed he had a gun.
On May 15th, the man entered a Bartell drugstore at Minor Avenue and Madison Street and began stealing Hostess snack cakes and shampoo. When an employee confronted the suspect, he claimed he had a gun. Employees backed off and the suspect left the store, only to return a short time later to steal some skin care items before fleeing.
SPD Robbery detectives identified the man and, on June 19th, patrol officers spotted him near 23rd and Jackson and took him into custody.
He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
