Officers arrested a 27-year-old man Saturday morning after he stabbed another man in the arm in the 8500 block of Aurora Avenue North.
Police were dispatched to the Greenwood neighborhood at 9:30 AM for a report of a man with a large cut on his right arm. Officers arrived and found a 26-year-old man with a slash wound being treated by some witnesses for his injuries.
Seattle Fire Department medics were called to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told officers he had been attacked by the suspect following a verbal dispute. The suspect then pulled out a knife and cut the victim before fleeing the scene.
Officers searched the area and were able to take the suspect into custody blocks away from where the victim said the assault took place. Police booked the suspect into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
