Update 7/18/19
Detectives arrested two people in connection with the June 19th murder of a man in the 8400 block of Aurora Avenue North.
Detectives served two arrest warrants Thursday morning and took an 18-year-old and 19-year-old man into custody.
Police will now work with the Prosecutor’s Office as the case moves forward.
Original 6/19/19
Police responded to the 8400 block of Aurora Avenue North at 12:34 AM Wednesday for reports of multiple shots fired. Officers arrived in the area and found a 59-year-old man sitting on a bench on the west side of the street with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Seattle Fire department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
