Police arrested a wanted heroin dealer in downtown Seattle on Wednesday.
Police were searching for the 29-year-old man, who is a convicted felon and wanted on multiple felony warrants, in downtown Seattle when they spotted him sitting in a rented Kia near the 400 block of Stewart around 2:15 pm.
Officers approached the car and arrested the man, who had heroin sitting on his lap, and packaging material and a scale in the car.
Police found the man was in possession of 32 grams of heroin and booked him for possession with intent to deliver and a felony warrant.
A passenger in the vehicle was referred to the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program.
UPDATE: Investigators served a warrant on the man’s rental car and recovered 2.8 grams of methamphetamine, ammunition, and a loaded handgun.
