Officers Seize Pounds of Narcotics, Thousands of Dollars During Burglary Investigation

Officers investigating a burglary in Northwest Seattle stumbled onto a large scale narcotics operation Thursday night.

A passerby in the 1700 block of North Northgate Way saw a person exit a vehicle and jump a fence at 9:45 pm Thursday. The went on to tell call takers that they heard glass break and can now see people inside the home.

Police surrounded the house and found a 28-year-old woman inside. Officers arrested the woman and then began to search the home for additional suspects. While searching the home, officers discovered 989 grams of Methamphetamines, 204 grams of crack cocaine, 93 grams of heroin, 771 Xanax pills, 102 Oxycodone pills, 2 strips of LSD, and $6524.

Officers seized the drugs and cash and the Narcotics unit is now conducting a follow-up investigation.

Police booked the woman into King County Jail for multiple drug charges.
