Update 8/23/19
Detectives have arrested a teenager in connection with the ongoing investigation into a South Park shooting that injured a 31-year-old man.
Friday morning at 6:00, officers with the SWAT unit, K-9 unit, and gang unit served a search warrant in the 4800 block of South Fontanelle Street. Officers took a 17-year-old boy into custody. Detectives also recovered a handgun during a search of the home.
Officers booked the teenager into the King County Youth Services Center for investigation of assault.

Detectives are investigating after a man was shot following an argument Sunday evening in the South Park Neighborhood.
Police began receiving reports around 10:30 PM of shots fired in the 500 block of South Donovan Street.
When officers arrived they found a 31-year-old man, with gunshot wounds to the arm and buttocks, lying on the sidewalk. Seattle Fire Department Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he is currently receiving treatment.
Detectives spoke with witnesses who said the victim had been involved in an argument with a man just prior to the shooting. Witnesses said the suspect fled the area on foot. They described the suspect as a five foot six inch, 160 pound, Hispanic male. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
