Seattle Police Narcotics detectives, West Precinct Anti-Crime officers, and Homeland Security Investigations agents arrested four suspected narcotics dealers Thursday in separate investigations in SODO and Lower Queen Anne.
Narcotics investigators first arrested a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old man in Lower Queen Anne around 5:45 PM after they met with officers, thinking they were going to exchange Xanax for cocaine and cash.
When police attempted to arrest the men they both fled, but police were able to chase after them and take them into custody. Police recovered amphetamine pills, cocaine, Xanax pills and suspected MDA.
Later that evening, just before 11pm, detectives also arrested a 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, who police had made several narcotics purchases from over a period of months. Investigators set up another deal with the man and the woman Thursday evening and arrested them in the lobby of a SODO hotel. Investigators recovered narcotics from inside a tackle box the man was carrying, including four grams of cocaine, suspected MDA, and 31 grams of a white powder still undergoing testing.
Police booked all four suspects into the King County Jail for narcotics-related charges.
