Detectives Recover Stolen Guns, Narcotics From Auburn Dealer

SPD SWAT and Narcotics detectives arrested a 37-year-old Auburn man this week as part of an investigation into fentanyl dealing in the Seattle area.

Early month, SWAT officers served a warrant at the man’s Auburn apartment in the 800 block of 45th Street NE, where they found him attempting to flush narcotics down a toilet.

Police arrested the man, who had previously sold Oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl to police, and searched his home. Police recovered a variety of different drugs, including Xanax, dextroamphetamine, fentanyl pills, mushrooms, cocaine, and methamphetamine, as well as a stolen shotgun, a stolen rifle with an attached suppressor and drum magazine, and a handgun, found under the man’s mattress.

The man has previous felony convictions and is unable to lawfully possess firearms.

Police booked him into jail for narcotics possession, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of stolen firearms.
