As a proactive measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Seattle Police Department is suspending all police headquarters front counter services and closing our precinct facilities to the public. Re-opening dates have not yet been determined.

You can request a clearance letter by mail at:

- Please be sure to enclose a check payable to City of Seattle and the address where you would like the letters mailed.
- NOTE: Clearance letters require this form and a copy of a government issued photo ID.
