West Precinct detectives are currently searching for a wanted burglary suspect who is suspected in least three burglaries to businesses in the Chinatown-International District (CID) neighborhood and downtown.
The suspect, Risan Umarov, 29 years old, 5′-09″ tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, was arrested by officers on March 22nd for burglary and booked into the King County Jail but released the following day.
Detectives believe that Umarov committed two more burglaries, one to a closed restaurant in the CID and another to a business downtown. Detectives have filed these new cases with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
