Detectives are investigating after three people were struck by gunfire in the Central District Friday night.
Witnesses began calling 911 around 8:30 pm to report that shots had been fired in the 2800 block of East Alder Street. Police arrived and found two people who had apparent gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department Medics could transport the injured people to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) for further treatment.
A third person drove themselves to HMC and was treated for a gunshot wound.
Detectives with the Gang Unit do not believe this to be a random shooting but are asking anyone with information to please call the tip line at (206)233-5000.
