Detectives are investigating an early morning fatal shooting in a motel parking lot at N. 82nd and Aurora Avenue North. One adult female was declared deceased at the scene and an adult male is being treated for life-threatening gunshot wounds at Harborview Medical Center. The suspect fled the scene.
Just after 3:00 AM Tuesday officers responded to reports of shots fired at that location. There had been a disturbance in the parking lot of the motel just prior to the shots fired. Officers arrived and located the victim. Seattle Fire responded but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A short time later a male victim arrived at Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening gunshot wound injuries. He is currently being treated at the hospital.
