SPD Civilian Employee Arrested for Weekend I-5 Shooting

The Washington State Patrol arrested a Seattle Police Department civilian employee this evening following a shooting that occurred on I-5 over the weekend.

The Washington State Patrol has notified the Seattle Police Department that they arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a road rage incident that ended with one man being shot.

Today, troopers arrested the suspect at his home without incident. He was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.

The suspect has been placed on administrative leave as the Washington State Patrol continues their investigation.
