#2020-223408/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-26-20 at 1519 hours, officers responded to an attempted armed robbery in the 3600 block of 33 AV South. The suspect punched the victim in the face three times and then pulled two knives and demanded that the victim hand over his money. The victim fled and called 911. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. The officers recovered the two knives, a machete and two sets of brass knuckles from the suspect. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail.

#2020-223474/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-26-2020 at 1713 hours, a 33-year-old male riding a stolen motorcycle northbound on Greenwood Ave North when he struck a vehicle pulling out of a driveway. Witnesses report the motorcyclist was making quick lane changes and traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist suffered life threatening injuries. The driver of the car and his passenger were uninjured.

#2020-223848/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 7-26-2020 at 1728 hours, officers responded to the Downtown Target store where employees reported that a man had assaulted and threatened them and then stole bottles of liquor. Officers quickly located the suspect near the storefront and attempted to arrest him. The suspect resisted as a crowd of onlookers attempted to intervene. Additional units responded and the suspect was taken into custody, but repeatedly spat on the arresting officers.

#2020-223523/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-26-2020 at 1824 hours, officers and a K9 responded to multiple reports of two vehicles involved in a rolling gun battle near the 1800 block of MLK JR WY South. Witnesses were interviewed. Two vehicles were damaged by gunfire, but no one was injured. Officers processed the scene.

#2020-223644/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 7-26-2020 at 2155 hours, a man reported that he was flagged down outside a local hospital by a frantic male who reported that he needed to leave in a hurry. The victim allowed the male in his vehicle and then the passenger demanded to be taken to I-90. When the victim refused, the male cut the victim’s face with a knife, causing a minor injury. The victim exited his vehicle. Meanwhile the suspect took off but was located and arrested later by another law enforcement agency and booked into the King County Jail.
