Detectives are investigating after two men were shot in the Alki neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the 5500 block of Alki Avenue Southwest after people in the area reported shots fired. Police arrived moments later and found a truck parked in the area that had been struck by the shots and three people inside.
Two men had been struck, one in the chest and one in the arm, and a third man was uninjured in the shooting.
Seattle Fire Department Medics transported one person and a private ambulance transported the other to Harborview Medical, both in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
Detectives with the Gang Unit spoke with witnesses who said a vehicle was seen speeding from the area but are still trying to develop a suspect description.
