Police arrested a man and recovered a firearm following a shooting Thursday in downtown Seattle, which left another man seriously injured.
Around 1:35 PM, Officers working near 4th Avenue and Pine Street heard gunfire.
They arrived at the scene and found an injured adult male with gunshot wounds to both legs. Officers arrested a suspect—also an adult male—nearby and recovered a firearm.
Police are investigating whether a narcotics transaction may have preceded the shooting.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
