#2020-246708/West Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 8-22-2020 at 0055 hours, a man was standing with his cell phone. The suspect walked up and took the phone from the victim. The victim confronted the suspect, who pulled out a knife. The victim attempted to retreat but was stabbed in the arm and abdomen. The victim fled into a nearby building and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. Officers arrived but were unable to locate any witnesses. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center.  Officers then located a suspect nearby who was uncooperative and belligerent. Based on the lack of evidence or positive identification the suspect was released. 

#2020-247122/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 8-22-2020 at 1427 hours, a liquor store manager in the 1600 block of 12th Ave. flagged down an officer to report that an unknown person had left a backpack and miscellaneous items in her store last night during a protest at the East Precinct. She stated that she had just looked inside it and saw what she believed to be a pipe bomb. Arson Bomb Squad was called and personnel cordoned off the area. After initial investigation, the item initially thought to be a potential device was found to be a container for a meth pipe. The balance of the backpack and items were also cleared. No explosive or hazardous items were located. 

#2020-247240/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 8-22-2020 at 1713 hours, officers responded to an assault in the 7800 block of Detroit Av SW. The victim had been pistol whipped by a known acquaintance. Another person observed this and called 911. Officers responded and the suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers found the suspect’s vehicle abandoned and set up containment.  An SPD K9 also  responded but the suspect was not located. The victim was treated by the Seattle Fire Department for a large laceration on his head and was transported to the hospital. 

#2020-232686/West Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 08-22-2020 at 1800 hours, officers received information about the location of a robbery suspect, wanted for a Seattle carjacking, a Seattle armed robbery, a Shoreline home invasion robbery, a Kent shooting, a Kent armed robbery, and a Renton armed robbery. At approximately 1800 hours, North ACT, West ACT, and three K9 units developed a tactical plan to make the arrest, in a Queen Anne neighborhood. The primary suspect and his juvenile female accomplice were arrested, without incident. 

#2020-247342/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 8-22-2020 at 1927 hours, a man went to another man’s address in disguise and attempted to locate him by asking his family about his whereabouts. The intended victim attempted to leave the scene in a white sports coupe as a passenger when the suspect shot at the coupe from another vehicle, striking the front passenger side of the hood. The intended victim fled back to the house on foot and all other parties involved fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was described as a small-medium sized silver Chevrolet SUV which was not located. 

#2020-247391/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 8-22-2020 at 2026 hours, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 500 blk of SW Sullivan St. A male victim was located with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his ankle. The victim and witnesses were not forthcoming with suspect information or details about the incident. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for follow up treatment.
