Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound in East Portal Viewpoint Park
A woman called 911 just after 6:45 Saturday morning to report she had found a man injured in the 1400 block of Lake Washington Boulevard South.
Seattle Fire Department Medics declared the man was dead and called police to the scene. Detectives with the homicide unit are now at the scene attempting to recover any evidence. Detectives will work with the King County Medical Examiner to determine the victim’s identity and age.
