#2020-260562/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-6-2020 at 2117 hours, officers were dispatched to the QFC near the Alaska Junction in reference to the report of a male throwing glass bottles at staff and causing significant damage to the store. The complainant was hit with a full plastic soda bottle and further reported that the subject was throwing large rocks through the exterior windows of the store. The final update before officers arrived was that the suspect was now fully nude. Officers arrived on scene and took the subject into custody without incident. The damage that had been caused was substantial and likely to cost the business several thousand dollars to repair. The subject was booked into the King County Jail for Malicious Mischief 2nd degree and Assault 4.  

#2020-260533/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-6-2020 at 2034 hours, a motorist/victim was driving SB on Rainier Av S. in the Mount Baker neighborhood. The victim’s vehicle was struck by gunfire as she was driving. The victim pulled over several blocks away and called 911. South Precinct Officers responded to the victim and the possible shooting scene. Officers located the scene and found damages to a nearby business. Officers also located a bullet hole on the victim vehicle. There was no suspect information and no injury. 

#2020-260658/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-6-2020 at 2129 hours, officers were dispatched to a burglary in-progress at a business along the waterfront in Ocean sector. The suspect had left prior to officers’ arrival. Investigation revealed that the suspect somehow gained access into the business, stole some power tools and intentionally damaged properties. The suspect then stole a company truck and drove through the front entry gate, causing severe damage. Area search for the suspect was negative. SPD Communication notified all surrounding agencies and WSP about the stolen truck.

#2020-260600/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-6-2020 at 2224 hours, South Precinct Officers responded to the Georgetown area for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, provided lifesaving aid to the victim and secured the scene for Seattle Fire. SFD arrived and took the victim to Harborview Medical Center. Officers learned that the male victim was driving his vehicle with his wife (front passenger) and her brother (the suspect/sitting behind the driver). The suspect was in possession of a gun and discharged one round striking the victim in the upper back. They pulled over and yelled for assistance. The suspect left right after the shooting but returned to scene. He was placed in custody without incident by officers. The vehicle involved was impounded and the suspect was booked for Assault 3.
