#2020-261106/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
On 9-7-2020 at 1440 hours, officers located a stolen 2001 Nissan pickup in the 8800 block of 5 Ave S. Officers located the driver of the vehicle and he was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into the King County Jail for possession of stolen vehicle.
#2020-261144/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 9-7-2020 at 1523 hours, a male flagged down a Fare Transit officer at 5 Av S/Jackson St. KC Metro contacted SPD regarding the assault victim. Officers contacted the victim at Harborview Medical Center using a translator. Victim said he lives near Spokane St and two men attacked him with a shovel. Victim sustain injuries to his head and arms.
#2020-261450/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 9-7-2020 at 2203 hours, officers were dispatched to an arson call in the 1100 block of NW 50 ST. According to the call, a known suspect pulled up in a vehicle and threw an unknown flaming object at the caller’s RV causing the RV to catch on fire. The call also stated that the fire was put out and that Fire was not responding. Officers arrived and contacted the caller. Officers located the remains of the object used to start the fire. Officers photographed the scene and held the scene for the Arson Bomb Squad. ABS arrived and took over the investigation. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a green Nissan SUV.
